Purulia is one of the most beautiful and picturesque location to spend time in. It lies on the way to Bhagmundi from Ayodhya. The perfect time to visit Purulia is during monsoon or after monsoon. You can easily visit to the famous waterfall at Barria, about 500 steps down. The steps are made of concrete halfway down the road. Scattered with boulders and surrounded by forest, this place has a wild beauty. One can sit on the big boulders and relax for a while. However stones being slippery, one must be very careful.
